2010 17U & 19U Rep Team Coach/Mgmnt Positions

I hereby advise that nominations for Team Support Staff for the 17U and 19U NACT 2010 Representative teams are now open and will close at 5.00pm on Friday 9th October 2009. Candidates should be prepared for interview/s, if selected, in the week 19th to 22nd October 2009 – either in person or by teleconference. It is anticipated that the successful candidates will be announced on Monday 2nd November 2009.
 
Please note the following dates:
 
Phase 1: 17U – Saturday 5th December 2009; 19U - Saturday 12th December 2009
 
Phase 2: 17U – Saturday 13th February 2009; 19U – Saturday 20th February 2009
 
17&U National Netball Championships - Host - Netball South Australia - Venue - Adelaide - Wednesday 7 April to Monday 12 April - Compulsory Team Managers meeting 4.00pm Tuesday 6 April
 
19/U National Netball Championships - Host - Netball South Australia - Venue - Adelaide - Wednesday 7 April to Monday 12 April - Compulsory Team Managers meeting 4.00pm Tuesday 6 April
 
The nominations being called for in this announcement apply only to the 17U and 19U teams. Netball ACT will advertise for team support positions for the 21U team at the end of April 2010. The 21U NNC`s will be held from Wednesday 29 September 2010 to Monday 4 October 2010. A Host State/Territory and venue had not been decided as at the release of this news item.

The positions available are as follows:
 
17U: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager
19U: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager
 
Selection documentation for the above positions is available from the State Teams sub-section of the Resources section of this web site. Simply click on the Resources Menu Item on the Main Menu to the left of this screen, select the State Teams option and download the document entitled "2010 17U/19U State Team Management Positions". Please note all candidates must follow the directions within this document.

Please note:
a decision on primary carers will be made after the selection of the team staff above and in conjunction with current Netball ACT policy and the Head Coach, NACTA.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR POTENTIAL APPLICANTS:

Please note that all successful applicants for positions with the 17U and 19U NNC teams will be required to undertake a compulsory national police check if not done so in the past two years (negotiable period), In addition to the police check they may also be required to undertake a working with children check – this is to be confirmed when the new ACT legislation is tabled in the coming weeks. Netball ACT will meet the costs of such checks for successful applicants.
